We only spent a few hours at Epcot and so only got a feel for the place. In general we felt it was aimed at kids a little older than our two (at 7 and 4 years). There are two areas to the park - the 'Future World' area at the front of the park, around the famous globe structure and then behind this is the World Showcase with many countries from around the world represented around a huge lake - we didn't have the time to go to this area which was a shame.

Here's a quick rundown of the things we did at Epcot and what we thought:

  • SpaceShip Earth - this is a really interesting tour through time and civilisations inside the giant globe. We were surprised how much the kids got out of this attraction - so much so we did it twice!
  • Test Track - The queues are huge for this ride and the FASTPASS wait times were 4 or 5 hours ahead so it is a good one to get to early. We were unlucky in that when we got to the front of the FASTPASS queue there was a technical problem and we had to wait another 30 minutes while it was resolved. However, once onto the ride - a run through all the different elements of testing cars for safety - we loved it. The final part where you go up to 65mph was great and the kids were screaming for more afterwards!
  • Innoventions - lots of hands-on exhibits and demonstrations - quite interesting for our two but we tried to keep them away from the PlayStation-style games as we felt they could do this ant time.
